My mural submission The Stairway Odyssey, was the winning artwork for the competition "Colour the Stairs 2024" designed to bring colour to the library stairs in Hochschule Rhein-Waal Kleve campus, North Rhein-Westphalia. Taking inspiration from the diverse community of students who walk through the university halls everyday, I tried to capture their whimsical, hectic but also exciting day-to-day lives, all together while highlighting bits and pieces of the campus itself.

I am grateful and overjoyed to have my project realised on the wall. This work was produced under the supervision of our drawing course teacher Mr Björn whose feedback shaped it to what it is. It was amazing to work on a project such as this, where we were allowed full creative freedom to put our imagination to paper, and in this case, the wall.
