LAGA 2029 (Landesgartenschau) was a corporate identity design project for the State Garden Show event in the city of Kleve in North Rhine-Westphalia. It was a real-life project which took place in the form of a competition and the winner would have the opportunity to have their design implemented.
My idea revolved around the idea of a swan, serving as the emblem of Kleve, cut from the shape of a leaf, to symbolise its connection to nature. I created a logo over the course of several months and many repetitions, that I felt best captured the city's flora and fauna. For the rest of the media design, I turned to Illustration, where I juxtaposed silhouettes of plants and flowers to combine into this vivid, bold creation. In the end, I was left with a very bold impression of the event. My project was in the top 8 shortlist.
